A rare picture of the Male Principal Boy George Lashwood.

The photograph is possibly from the Royal Court Theatre, Liverpool, Circa 1908/9.

George Lashwood, born 1863, died 1942 was a comedian who appeared on the halls and achieved great popularity, firstly with patriotic   songs like "The Death or Glory Boys" and more famously for his light numbers such as "In the Twi- Twi- Twilight", and "Riding on top of the car".
