Panto Bills & Posters

Mother Goose

Drury Lane c. 1902
This poster is for the Drury Lane pantomime of 1902 by Jay Wood and Arthur Collins, which starred the great Dan Leno in the Dame part and Herbert Campbell, as his comic partner.
By common consent Drury Lane pantomime was regarded in the late Victorian period as being the best of its kind; it was certainly the most elaborate and expensive.
