Dick Whittington, 1898

Design for eight "Sailors" played by the female chorus in Dick Whittington 1898. These have copious notes written in pencil, presumably by the costumier enquiring what type of shoes, what material should be used. Possibly this was a recycled sketch made up for a production when the designer was not in evidence.
